After6 Services LLC — Skylanders Portal (SellYourSkylanders.com and skylande.rs)
Version 1.1 · Effective Date: September 22, 2026 · Last Updated: September 22, 2026
Summary
This summary is for convenience only. The full policy below governs.
- We are a buyer, not a marketplace. We collect what we need to evaluate the items you offer us, ship them, pay you, and keep the records the law requires.
- We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
- We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party trackers. The only cookies we set are the ones required to keep you signed in and to protect the site.
- Photographs you upload are never published. They are stored privately, location metadata is stripped from them on receipt, and they are deleted 90 days after your lot is completed or declined.
- If you ask us for a prepaid shipping label, we collect the address you are shipping from and your box size and weight, share them with the carrier to buy the label, and delete the address from the Portal 90 days after your lot is completed or declined.
- You must be 18 to have an account. The site is not directed to children under 13.
- We give every U.S. user the same rights — access, correction, deletion, and a copy of their data — regardless of which state they live in.
1. Who We Are and What This Policy Covers
After6 Services LLC ("After6," "A6," "we," "us," or "our") is a Pennsylvania limited liability company with a mailing address of PO Box 646, Rushland, PA 18956, United States. After6 is the controller of, and is responsible for, the personal information described in this policy.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with the websites at SellYourSkylanders.com and skylande.rs, together with all subdomains and services made available through them (collectively, the "Portal"). The Portal is also referred to as the After6 Skylanders Portal, the A6 Skylanders Portal, the After6 Services Skylanders Buy List, the After6 Buy List, the A6 Buy List, Sell Your Skylanders, and Sell Your Skylanders Dot Com.
This policy does not apply to any other website, service, or business operated by After6, or to any third-party website you reach from the Portal.
Your use of the Portal is also governed by our Terms of Service. Capitalized terms used but not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
Geographic scope. The Portal is intended solely for individuals located in and resident in the United States. We do not knowingly offer the Portal to individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions outside the United States, and this policy is written for United States law.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
| Category | Examples | When collected |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Your legal name, email address, and a password (stored only as a cryptographic hash — we never see or store your actual password) | Registration |
| Contact and shipping information | Mailing address, and optionally a telephone number | Registration, or when you submit a Lot or we need to return items |
| Payment information | The email address or account identifier associated with your PayPal account, or a mailing address for a check | When you provide payment details |
| Taxpayer information | Where required, information from an IRS Form W-9, including your name, address, and taxpayer identification number | Only where we believe we may have an information-reporting obligation |
| Lot and transaction information | The items you offer, quantities, stated conditions, offer prices, submission and acceptance dates, shipping and tracking details, amounts paid | Building and submitting a Lot, and thereafter |
| Prepaid label details | The name and address the Shipment will be sent from, and the box's length, width, height, and packed weight | After After6 approves your Lot for shipment, if it qualifies for a prepaid label and you choose to request one |
| Photographs | Images of the items in your Lot | If you choose to upload them (they are optional, except to qualify for a prepaid label) |
| Communications | Email you send us, support requests, and our replies | When you contact us |
2.2 Information collected automatically
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Log and device data | IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and date and time of access — recorded in standard server logs |
| Security and integrity data | Failed sign-in attempts, rate-limit events, and similar records used to detect abuse |
| Strictly necessary cookies | A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a CSRF token cookie that protects forms against cross-site request forgery |
We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party web analytics service on the Portal. We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, social media trackers, or any other third-party tracking technology. See Section 7.
2.3 Information from third parties
We receive limited information from our payment provider confirming whether a payment succeeded or failed, and from shipping carriers confirming delivery status. We do not purchase personal information from data brokers, and we do not combine your information with data acquired from advertising networks.
2.4 Sensitive information
We do not collect Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, biometric data, health information, or information about race, religion, sexual orientation, union membership, or political beliefs — with the single exception of a taxpayer identification number collected on an IRS Form W-9 where a reporting obligation may apply, which is handled as described in Section 6.4.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for any purpose other than the purposes permitted under applicable law without further notice.
3. Photographs — Special Handling
Because photographs of a collection are taken inside people's homes, we handle them with particular care.
- They are optional. You can submit a Lot without uploading any photograph, and we will not reject a Lot for that reason alone. A photograph is required only if you want a prepaid shipping label (Section 10.9 of the Terms of Service).
- Location metadata is removed. Every uploaded image is re-encoded on receipt, which removes EXIF metadata — including any GPS coordinates recorded by your camera or phone. We verify this behavior through automated testing.
- They are never public. Photographs are not served from any public web address. They are stored in private object storage and delivered only through an authenticated request by you or by authorized After6 personnel. They are not indexed by search engines.
- They are not published, marketed, or reused as catalog imagery. Under the Terms of Service, we may use your photographs only to evaluate, process, document, and resolve disputes about your Lot, and for our internal records, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. We will not publish them or use them in advertising without your separate express consent.
- They are deleted on a schedule. Photographs are deleted 90 days after the associated Lot reaches a completed or declined state, by an automated process. They are transaction evidence with a limited shelf life, not archival records.
- You can delete them yourself while the Lot is pending. Once a Lot moves beyond pending status, photographs form part of the transaction record and can no longer be deleted by you.
- Please do not photograph people. We ask that your photographs show only the items you are offering. Do not include other people, identification documents, mail, or anything else you would not want in a business record. The handwritten slip required for a prepaid label needs only the Lot number and a date. Do not write your name or address on it.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
| Purpose | What this means |
|---|---|
| Providing the Portal | Creating and maintaining your account, authenticating you, keeping your session, and letting you build and submit a Lot |
| Evaluating and processing Lots | Reviewing what you have offered, inspecting shipments against your Lot and photographs, making acceptance or decline decisions, and issuing counter-offers |
| Shipping and returns | Providing shipping instructions; buying a prepaid shipping label and emailing it to you when your Lot qualifies; and returning declined items to you |
| Payment | Paying you for accepted items, and satisfying related taxpayer-information obligations |
| Communicating with you | Email verification, submission confirmations, photo reminders, offer and payment notices, and responses to your questions |
| Fraud prevention, safety, and enforcement | Detecting and preventing fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity; enforcing our Terms of Service, including the age and account-ownership rules; investigating suspected counterfeit or stolen goods |
| Records, accounting, and tax | Maintaining the books, records, and transaction history our business and our tax obligations require |
| Legal compliance and defense | Complying with law and legal process, and establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims |
| Improving the Portal | Diagnosing errors, understanding aggregate usage from server logs, and improving reliability and security |
We do not use personal information for targeted advertising, for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, or for automated decision-making without human involvement. Decisions to accept or decline a Lot are made by After6 personnel.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months.
We disclose personal information only as follows:
5.1 Service providers
We use a small number of vendors that process personal information on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes we specify:
| Category of provider | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud hosting and object storage | All application data, including account records, Lot data, and photographs, stored in the United States | To operate the Portal |
| Transactional email delivery | Your email address and the contents of the messages we send you | To deliver verification, confirmation, and notice emails reliably |
| Customer support tooling | Your email address and the content of your support correspondence | To receive and respond to your questions |
| Payment provider (PayPal or similar) | Your name, payment account identifier, and the payment amount | To pay you |
| Shipping carriers and label services | Your name and mailing address; and, for a prepaid label, the name and address the Shipment is sent from and the box's size and weight | To return declined items to you, to buy prepaid labels for Shipments to us, and to file claims for Shipments lost or damaged in transit |
| Professional advisors | Information relevant to a specific matter | Accounting, tax, and legal advice |
5.2 Legal and protective disclosures
We may disclose personal information where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to: comply with a law, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; respond to a governmental or law enforcement request; enforce our Terms of Service; investigate suspected fraud, counterfeiting, theft, or other unlawful activity — including reporting suspected counterfeit or stolen goods, and associated account information, to the affected rights holder or to law enforcement; or protect the rights, property, or safety of After6, our users, or the public.
5.3 Business transfers
If After6 is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the recipient to honor this policy with respect to information transferred, or give you notice and a choice before your information becomes subject to a materially different policy.
5.4 With your consent
We will disclose personal information for any other purpose with your consent or at your direction.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it, and no longer:
| Information | Retention period |
|---|---|
| Photographs | Deleted 90 days after the associated Lot reaches a completed or declined state |
| Ship-from name and address (prepaid labels) | Deleted from the Portal 90 days after the associated Lot reaches a completed or declined state. Box size and weight are kept with the Lot's transaction record |
| Account information | For as long as your account is active. Deleted or anonymized within 90 days after you close your account, except for records we must retain under the rows below |
| Transaction and financial records (Lots, acceptances, amounts paid) | Seven (7) years from the date of the transaction, to satisfy accounting, audit, and tax record-keeping requirements |
| Taxpayer information (Form W-9) | Four (4) years after the later of the payment or the due date of the associated return, as required by IRS rules |
| Email and support correspondence | Up to three (3) years from the last message in the thread |
| Server and security logs | Up to twelve (12) months, except where a specific record is retained longer for an active security investigation |
| Records relating to enforcement, fraud, or a legal claim | For as long as necessary to resolve the matter and for the applicable limitations period thereafter |
A prepaid label shows the address it is sent from. We do not store labels in the Portal, but the email that delivered your label to you is email correspondence and is kept for the period in the Email and support correspondence row above.
Where we are required to retain a record after you ask us to delete your information, we will retain only the minimum necessary and will restrict its use to the purpose that requires retention.
7. Cookies and Tracking
7.1 What we use
The Portal uses strictly necessary cookies only:
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Session cookie | Keeps you signed in as you move between pages, and holds the contents of your sell cart before you register | Session, or a limited period thereafter |
| CSRF token cookie | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery attacks | Session |
| Remember-me cookie (if you select it) | Keeps you signed in across browser sessions | Until you sign out, or expiry |
7.2 What we do not use
We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media plug-ins, session-replay tools, fingerprinting, or any other third-party tracking technology on the Portal.
Because we do not track you across sites and do not serve targeted advertising, there is no advertising opt-out for you to exercise. If we ever introduce such technology, we will update this policy and provide the required notice and choice before doing so.
7.3 Browser controls and Do Not Track
You can configure your browser to block cookies, but the Portal will not function correctly without the session and CSRF cookies — you will not be able to sign in or submit a Lot.
There is no consensus standard for responding to "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signals for a site that does not track. Because we do not sell or share personal information or engage in targeted advertising, we treat every visitor as though such a signal were set.
8. Children's Privacy
Skylanders are children's toys, and we know that many collections offered to us belonged to a child or teenager. Our rules are designed with that in mind.
- You must be at least 18 years old to register for an account. Accounts may not be registered in the name of a person under 18.
- A person under 18 may participate only through an adult's account. A parent, legal guardian, or other adult must own and operate the account, in the adult's own name, with the adult's own email address, and must supervise the minor's participation. The adult is the account holder and is legally responsible for everything done through the account. This is set out in Section 4 of the Terms of Service.
- The Portal is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as those terms are used in the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 as an account holder. If we learn that an account was registered by a person under 18, or using false identity information, we will act under Section 5 of the Terms of Service — which may include suspending or terminating the account, removing associated Lots, cancelling purchases, and seeking a refund of any payment made — and we will delete the associated personal information except where we must retain it for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
- Parents and guardians: if you believe your child has provided personal information to us, contact us at the address in Section 12 and we will delete it promptly.
We ask that photographs you upload do not include children or any other identifiable person. Photograph only the items you are offering.
9. Your Privacy Rights
9.1 Rights we extend to all U.S. users
Several U.S. states give residents rights over their personal information. Rather than treat users differently by state, we extend the following rights to every user of the Portal, wherever in the United States you live:
| Right | What it means |
|---|---|
| Know / Access | Obtain confirmation of whether we process your personal information, and a copy of it, including the categories collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients |
| Correct | Have inaccurate personal information about you corrected |
| Delete | Request deletion of your personal information, subject to the exceptions in Section 9.3 |
| Portability | Receive a copy of the personal information you provided to us in a portable, machine-readable format |
| Opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and profiling | We do not engage in any of these, so there is nothing to opt out of. This policy serves as our notice that we do not |
| Non-discrimination | We will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a privacy right |
| Appeal | If we decline a request, you may appeal that decision (Section 9.4) |
9.2 How to exercise a right
Send a request to the contact point in Section 12, stating what you are asking for and the email address associated with your account. To protect your information, we will verify your identity before acting — usually by confirming control of the email address on the account, and, for a deletion or a copy request, by asking you to confirm details of your account or a recent transaction. We will not create additional accounts or collect additional information solely to verify you where we can avoid it.
We will respond within forty-five (45) days. Where a request is complex or numerous, we may extend that period by a further forty-five (45) days and will tell you if we do. There is no charge, unless a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, in which case we may charge a reasonable fee or decline it, and will explain why.
Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We may ask the agent for written proof of authorization and may ask you to verify your identity directly.
9.3 Limits on deletion
We may retain personal information notwithstanding a deletion request where we need it to: complete a transaction you requested, including paying you or returning your items; comply with a legal obligation, including tax and accounting record-keeping (Section 6); detect, investigate, or prevent fraud or other unlawful activity, or prosecute those responsible; establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim; or maintain the security and integrity of our systems. Where we do, we will tell you which exception applies.
9.4 Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or by writing to the address in Section 12 with the word "Appeal" in the subject line, within 90 days of our decision. We will respond in writing within 45 days, explaining the outcome and the reasons for it. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.
9.5 California residents — additional disclosures
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA") gives you the rights described above. In addition:
Categories of personal information collected in the preceding 12 months, using the CCPA's categories:

| Professional or employment information | No | — |
| Education information | No | — |
| Inferences | No | We do not create profiles or draw inferences about you |
| Sensitive personal information | Limited | Taxpayer identification number, only where a Form W-9 is required. We do not use or disclose it for any purpose beyond that |
- Sources: you; your device and browser; our payment provider; shipping carriers.
- Business purposes: as described in Section 4.
- Categories disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding 12 months: identifiers, commercial information, and audio/visual data, to the service provider categories listed in Section 5.1.
- Sale or sharing: We have not sold or shared personal information, including the personal information of minors under 16, in the preceding 12 months, and we do not do so.
- Financial incentives: we offer none.
- Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83): we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
9.6 Other state privacy laws
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Maryland, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island — have rights of access, correction, deletion, portability, and opt-out. We extend the same rights to all U.S. users under Section 9.1, so you need not identify your state to exercise them. Residents of states providing a right of appeal may appeal under Section 9.4.
9.7 Nevada residents
Nevada law permits residents to opt out of the sale of certain covered information. We do not sell covered information. You may still submit a request to the contact in Section 12.
10. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including:
- encryption of traffic to and from the Portal (HTTPS/TLS);
- storage of passwords only as salted cryptographic hashes, never in readable form;
- mandatory email verification before a Lot can be submitted or photographs uploaded;
- access controls limiting personal information to authorized personnel with a business need;
- ownership checks on every request for a Lot or a photograph, so that one user cannot access another's;
- validation of uploaded files by content rather than filename, and re-encoding of every uploaded image, which both neutralizes malicious files and strips embedded metadata;
- rate limiting and abuse monitoring on authentication and upload endpoints;
- private, non-public storage for all seller photographs; and
- automated deletion of photographs and other data on the schedules in Section 6.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for notifying us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.
Breach notification. If a breach of the security of the system results in unauthorized access to unencrypted personal information, we will provide notice as required by the Pennsylvania Breach of Personal Information Notification Act, 73 P.S. § 2301 et seq., and by any other applicable state breach notification law.
11. Other Matters
11.1 Links to other sites
The Portal may link to third-party websites, including a payment provider and shipping carriers. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information to them.
11.2 Where information is stored
Personal information is stored on servers located in the United States.
11.3 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the revised policy on the Portal and update the "Last Updated" date. If the changes are material, we will provide notice — by email to the address on your account, by a prominent notice on the Portal, or both — before they take effect, and where the law requires it, we will obtain your consent. Your continued use of the Portal after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11.4 Accessibility
If you need this policy in an alternative accessible format, contact us at the address in Section 12 and we will provide one.
